Video Profiling creating long term positive benefits to the wellbeing of individuals

Whether at home or school, in a consulting room, hospital or on the move, Video Profiling allows parents and professionals to come together and learn how an individual with additional needs can live their lives to their full potential.

Joined up working with families has many known benefits. Video Profiling makes this easier and more effective by creating links between the family and professionals who are committed to sharing their knowledge across a multidisciplinary team.

Video Profiling

Created by professionals with over 15 years clinical experience the Video Profiling web based application has been designed with the multidisciplinary team in mind. It is an engaging and secure way of quickly sharing information, making sure that all team members and families are fully informed and involved through interacting with the Profile.

Teams often work remotely but may need to 'keep in touch' with the support that other people are putting in place. Although VideoProfiling is not a substitute for face to face contact between team members it provides a dedicated, web based platform to record and chart progress to be shared across the group.

VideoProfiling allows strategies to be shared meaning progress can be measured and achievements can be celebrated by those people invited to the network.

Importantly, because each VideoProfile is linked to a family and not a setting, this information can travel with that family year by year facilitating life long learning.

Building a VideoProfile enables teams to share a complete picture of a child, young person or adult with additional needs. Having an enhanced insight into the challenges they face and achievements they make gives everyone the opportunity to build on the successes.

Building on success means being able to increase communication and independence into learning, home and community settings.
